Crackling Rose and Floribunda Net Cards Created for Chocolate Baroque

I made these a while ago and will be blogging some newer projects with these gorgeous stamps during the next couple of weeks x.

I have two cards to share with you today using the lovely new floral collage stamps from Chocolate Baroque – Crackling Rose and Floribunda Net.

AW Crackling Rose

The images were stamped onto white watercolour card with Versafine (Black Onyx). The images were then masked with Pebeo Drawing Gum. I love this masking fluid. It is so easy to apply, and remove. Also brushes are cleaned easily with water.

The background washes were created by scribbling ink onto my glass mat and picking up with a wet brush and painting onto dampened card.

The masking fluid was removed and the flowers were then coloured with watercolour markers, using a damp brush to blend.

The Crackling Rose was mounted into a vintage die cut frame highlighted with gilding wax. This was then mounted onto a crackle embossed background with 3D foam pads for added dimension. Sparkly organza ribbon was used to ‘ground’ the…
