I made this one for a friend who is 70 today. The bike stamp is from Darkroom Door. The die cuts are from Various brands (Tattered Lace, Trimcraft, Robert Addams, Sheena Douglass) and the embossing folders (background and words) from Crafters Companion.
I embossed the background onto black card and rubbed over with gold, silver and copper gilding waxes, and used them to colour the cogs too. Another embossing folder was used to create the ‘vintage’ words. The main image was stamped with Versamark and lightly tinted with watercolour pens. I applied several layers of clear embossing powder over the top to intensify it and make it look like a photo.
