I am an ex Clinical Scientist now self employed working as a textile and jewellery artist/maker.  I have always had a passion for creating with textiles, ever since childhood when I used to recycle fabrics and make gifts for family and friends. I really enjoy using a range of techniques and materials in my work; beading, wirework, soutache and beaded embroidery, silk and fabric painting, shibori and tie dye, patchwork and quilting, felting using both wet and needle felting methods, spinning, weaving, knitting, crochet and basket work. Basically I love everything to do with textiles, fabrics, threads, or beads.

During the last 2-3 years I have worked at increasing my online and social media presence. I have been involved with several Design Teams for craft related Companies, helping to create samples for TV shows on Create & Craft and Hochanda TV. I am currently privileged to work with Chocolate Baroque (stamping), Powertex (mixed media) and Gina-B Silkworks (passementerie textile trimmings). I have also done some DT work for Beads Direct (beadwork),Tattered Lace (dies) and for Brother ScanNCut (electronic cutter) – so you will see lots of paper crafts, cards,  and mixed media on my blog too. I love to share my work and help others with their own creative journey.
