I will blog more info on how I created these soon x.

Good evening. Here are my show samples for Gina’s show on Create and Craft TV tomorrow at 5pm (Freeview Channel 23 – can watch live or on catch up online too if you miss it).
Gina is a super talented lady that uses traditional Passementerie techniques to create period costume and museum pieces to commission. She also provides kits and books with the aim of keeping these traditional methods alive and applicable to the modern maker.
Tomorrows show is all about button making. I can highly recommend her range of books and DVDs – I think that I have bought just about every one. New designs will be on the show including Dorset Style buttons.
I am still pinching myself. I will be working with the fabulous Gina Barrett and her Design Team at Gina-B Silkworks – helping out with samples for her shows on Create & Craft TV. I have admired her work for so many years. As an added Bonus I will also working with the talented Chris Offa and Gillian McMurray. So excited.
Gina will be on Create & Craft tomorrow at 10am launching new kits and instructions for creating gorgeous Teneriffe Lace (UK Freeview Channel 23 or watch live or on catch up online from the website).
These are my first experiments with the technique – I am going to put mine into an oriental style mixed media canvas. I will share when I have finished.
I have finished my first set of Kanzashi fabric flowers using wonderful kits available from Gina-B-Silkworks. Gina’s instructions are so easy to follow. Loved making these. They are a great technique for using up tiny fabric scraps too.
Now I have to decide what to do with them. I think that I will use them to decorate a little sewing box.
